Mark Parsons Director Mark is one of the founders of Studio Polpo, and has 13 years experience in practice in various sectors, primarily domestic and education, in London, Sheffield and Berlin, since qualifying from The University of Sheffield in 1997. Mark retains strong links with his former practice, Architype, with whom he continues to work on various projects, currently a new-build school to Passivhaus standard in Leeds and a city centre church in Sheffield. He is also a member of the AECB (the Sustainable Building Association). Mark has also been a part-time design tutor at the School of Architecture at Sheffield University since 2005. He is particularly interested in flexible and changeable architecture and the innovative use of materials, and continues to develop these ideas in practice. Mark’s other interests include growing food, learning to kayak on Sheffield's rivers, illustration & cartooning, and long urban walks or bike rides through bleak industrial areas. /home/fhlinux196/s/studiopolpo.com/user/htdocs/images
