The Enterprise Zone project involved the design development and realistation of an initial concept design for the client by West Consultancy to refurbish and rationalise the buidling currently occupied by University of Sheffield Enterprise. A bespoke suspended cedar-slatted ceiling was developed in conjunction with contractor Gibbs, with a new lighting stratgey developed together with Rickard Green Engineering. The works to the Enterprise Zone use non-toxic and renewable materials where possible and the design brings increased levels of natural light to internal spaces, as well as ensuring that new facilities are accessible to all.
