Studio Polpo are working with Bloem, a Malvern based CIC on 'Project 1111'. This pilot project aims to bring local people together to share local food by running cookery sessions, establishing a cookery bistro set within a community café and providing training, apprenticeships and / or internships and volunteer positions in all aspects of a café business (marketing, sales, food preparation and more).

Following initial design advice provided by us, we were commissioned by Bloem to design a mobile catering unit that could function as a stall at festivals and events, or counter in shop units. The unit will be built by local people from our instructions, and these instructions will be available under a creative commons license for others to build or adapt.
